I'm going to be starting May 10. I was fit a month ago, maybe not so much now. Gear is mostly sorted I think, light enough, 40L pack will be a challenge sometimes but it's blaze orange, man. I'm really not prepared, planned, knowledgeable or organised at all. I'm not really 'excited' either, just want to start walking.
This is good. Preparedness and excessive planning is not me. Neither is exciting. I'll just keep wandering in a vaguely northward direction and get to Canada soon enough.
Looking very much forward to San Diego though. Well, except the Swine Flu bit. Strangely, I'm also looking forward to U.S. customs and Border Control. And my free $900. Whenever that comes. Here's to you Kevin and Wayne.
