At Mile 2523, Poptart 910/1000
Walked over to the store for breakfast where we learned from Pete who worked there that Hawkeye and Kombucha wanted us to wait for them. They had found their van (VW Westfalia, which they will spend the next year in seeing the country) and were bringing it to San Lorenzo. It was so good to see them again and it didn't take much to convince ourselves to stay all day. Got to meet Julie and a whole bunch of other wonderful people that have made San Lorenzo one of the friendliest towns I've ever been to. Got our chores done with the aid of the new van and spent the night at Pete's place. Got a wad of poptarts from WalMart via Hawkeye and Kombucha. Very important, I'd be eating 92 in the last two-and-a-half days if it wasn't for them.
