I want flies, mosquito's and carpenter ants to fight to the death. And all lose.

DAY SIXTY-SEVEN, July 15, 30 Miles
At mile 1325.5
Kind of a frustratingly slow morning out of Chips Creek Canyon, got to a spring just before lunch which will be my last on trail water for 24 miles. Fairly hot again, fair number of thru-hikers again, definitely in the herd now, although I have been told it's the front so I skipped over a lot of people without seeing them. About two miles from camp, hot, sweaty, dirty and tired, HoppĂpolla came on, I emerged from some trees right into a view of Lassen Peak. That was pretty special. Lassen is one beautiful lump of a volcano. Flies and ants are currently fighting for my hatred.
